Schüler und Studenten

Schüler und Studentengruppen

  • Schoolchildren and students traveling together who belong to a public or a recognized private educational institution and young people up to their 25th birthday (completed 25 years of age) receive the fare reduction.
  • School and student groups must be accompanied by a teacher, youth groups by a youth leader.
  • The cashier at the point of sale decides whether this requirement is met.
  • The discount is also granted to children cared for by kindergartens when they travel together. If there are a maximum of three children under the age of 6 for one educator, the regulation for children's tickets for under 6-year-olds can be applied.
  • At least 10 reduced fares in the schoolchildren/young people category from their 6th birthday (up to the age of 6) to their 25th birthday (up to the age of 25) must be paid for.

  • In groups of 10 or more pupils, students or young people, regardless of their age, a teacher or youth group leader will be transported without charging the fare. For every additional number of 10 pupils, students or young people or part thereof, an additional supervisor will be transported without charging the fare. Additional companions receive the company discount.

Note: The provisions of the Swiss tariffs (T 600 / T 660) also apply on the ships of the Swiss Shipping Company Untersee and Rhein (URh).
