The adventure starts in Bregenz where the ship takes you to the Rheindamm! The beautriful ship tour takes you alongside the Bregenzer Festival sight and the nature reserve "Mehrerau" to the Rheindamm. There the historic train service, which in formert times transported stone and building materials will take you to the Museum Rheinschauen where many historic artifacts are disposed. Children have the chance to explore the trains drivers cab and many other fun multimedial exhibition parts at the museum! After the visit in the museum the train takes the visitors back to the Rheindamm where theship of the Vorarlberg Lines brings the guests back to the harbor Bregenz. Depending on the date of the journey, the historic electric locomotive from the 1940s or the steam locomotive from 1910 and 1920, respectively, will be used. For small and large guests, the trip with the historic train is something truely special!
