Carriage of children and the "Bodensee-Kinderkarte"

Children up to 5 years old travel free of charge. Children up to the 6th birthday are only transported if acompanied by a supervisor/adult.

• All children or grandchildren from 6-15 years accompanied by their parents or grandparents receive a discounted day ticket, the "Bodensee Children's Card" for 7.70 €. It is valid on all course ships and on the ferry Friedrichshafen - Romanshorn! This applies to all children of a family accompanied by a parent/grandparent if at least one parent/grandparent is in possession of a valid ordinary adult ticket. With the Lake Constance Children's Card, all children can travel around Lake Constance as often as they like in one day. This means that even with a family of 4 children you only pay 7.70 €.
